Leticia is the proud mother of LJ—the joyful inspiration behind LJ’s Wings Foundation. From the beginning, she refused to let his Angelman Syndrome diagnosis define him, believing instead that he was destined to make a powerful impact.
Angelman Syndrome doesn’t come with a manual—it comes with a mother who never gives up. Leticia is dedicated to raising awareness, advocating for the Angelman community, and supporting families with the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need.
Larry Dusing

While attending national events in support of Angelman Syndrome, I’ve developed a deep passion for raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and supporting families. I strive to help children with Angelman Syndrome access the tools and resources they need—many of which are too often denied by insurance providers.
As a business owner for more than 25 years, I bring extensive experience in organizing successful fundraising events and providing guidance on financial oversight.

Having built a successful business from the ground up, I will use my experience and knowledge to help ensure this foundation thrives and continues to grow, supporting others in the Angelman Syndrome community along the way.
As LJ Dusing’s uncle, nothing brings me more joy than watching him grow, and I hope to help share that joy and support with other families.
